Using sections from magazines as a background is one of my favorite techniques and the one I seem to get the most "positive" comments on. It works especially well when you feel stuck or blocked because the card already has a strong starting point.

The final drawing is April 17th..so all completed cards received by April 16th will qualify for the final drawing. See the schedulle of drawings below.

If you have already ordered the backgrounds finish 2 or more of the cards in any way your imagination leads you and mail them to: Bmuse-MBC, 1528 Ninth Street, Unit F, Alameda CA 94501. Please include your email address so I can notify you when your cards have arrived and so that I may contact you should you win one of the weekly drawings. You may enter as many times as you wish, for every two cards received your name goes in the drawing for that week to win Bmuse products.

The images below are typical samples of the Magazine Background Artist Trading Cards. The background image is permanently mounted to a 2.5 x 3.5 inch piece of 80# card stock. These are just samples no two are alike and every card you receive will be unique.

Contest and Swap

When I receive your completed cards I will email you that they have arrived.
I will mail you an equal number of cards submitted by other artists in return.
AND, the important part!...your name will be entered into that week's drawing for FREE Stuff...oh, and you can enter as many times as you wish, just send in more cards.
Your cards, unless you specifically request otherwise, will be added to the Magazine Background Challenge Gallery Page.

Drawings - Schedule and Prizes

Winners will be announced and notified the Sunday following each drawing.

In addition the winner of each drawing will be given the option of getting FREE SHIPPING if they place an order that ships with their prize. For players outside the US. I will compensate you the amount it would be to ship in the US and just charge any additional amounts.
